I have been waiting for someone to ask me that!

I used Frederich&#039;s 9x12 canvas sheets exclusively.  It is the perfect size for my quick oil sketches.  Also, I don&#039;t have the panic of ruining a canvas board.  I never use stretched surfaces because I like a more stable area when I paint.

If you want to talk more about technique, you may go over to Facebook, and request to be a friend.  I love to talk about painting, and I don&#039;t know everything!

I either have them on the table (I developed carpal by using a LARGE hand-held palette for 8 hours at a time.  I weigh in a little over 100 lbs so, it took a toll), or in a chair beside me.
